Farmville Tree Guide

The basic types of crops are Animals, Trees, and Regular Crops which you need to plant. Trees will be the only topic discussed in this particular article. If you are interested in reading more about the other two crops (plus ways to make lots of coins), head on over to another article..

The trees never rot unlike the seed crops which rot. You put a tree on your area, it will mature, and you can harvest it when you want to. You can use the trees as decors to beautify your farm. The drawback  of  planting trees is that they are a poor return if you buy them yourself. Each harvest may only sell for 20-80 coins whereas the tree itself will cost you 400 coins. You can simply wait til you get trees as free gifts from other people. As an alternative, you can request for a specific tree that is available through the free gift system by placing a sign post on your field. You should also remember that trees take a few days to mature.  Growng trees will not make you rich in Farmville instantly.

When you’re picking your trees, take a moment to consider your Farmville goals. Are you playing this game to see just how many coins you can get in a very short time? Do not bother with trees if that is your aim. You can grow berries instead and look at your balance shoot through the roof. They’re an excellent selection if you’re looking to use them as decorations and you if you are not in a rush to receive coins.

People who do not play the game for extended periods of time and then come back to it (e.g. a few days or weeks) will also enjoy trees and animals. Seed crops rot while both trees and animals can wait to be harvested. Plan accordingly and you’ll never have to delete a field of withered plants (extremely boring way to spend an evening)!
